The Waypoint North team headed to Newcastle to host two events for agency and tech leaders seeking to learn how to improve their profitability and transform their sales pipeline.
Lead by Phil Gripton and Jamie Learmont, the morning saw us explore profitability and in particular the tips that successful businesses employ to improve their margins. Drawing from their experiences Phil and Jamie held an engaging, interactive session with Newcastle’s agency leaders with the purpose to:
- Help understand the principle of planning for profit.
- Help with the ongoing management of profit.
- Give you the tools and levers to improve your businesses’ margins.
Using real life examples of where they have scaled businesses, Phil and Jamie shared tools to implement within your business to monitor and keep on track and shared their top tips.

Our afternoon session focussed on sales and in particular, how to create a repeatable sales process.
