We announced Waypoint’s expansion and the opening of a New York office a few weeks ago and things have been moving quickly ever since. We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Brett Davis, our New York-based Partner who will be leading our efforts across the US.

Brett joins Waypoint Partners after holding leadership roles for 2 years at Kelton Global and nearly 7 years at Edelman. Brett most recently served as COO of Kelton Global, an insights and brand strategy consultancy that helps businesses grow and thrive. During Brett’s leadership, Kelton continued expanding its capabilities and financial performance, while sustaining the company’s exceptional culture and differentiated offering. In April 2018, Kelton was acquired by Lieberman Research Worldwide (LRW)

Prior to Kelton, Brett was CFO & COO of Edelman Berland, Edelman’s research and analytics arm (now branded as Edelman Intelligence) and also led Edelman’s Corporate Development and Corporate Finance team.

An entrepreneur at heart, Brett founded one of the largest Food & Beverage Distribution companies of its time across the mid-Atlantic region, which later stretched through the southwestern states and was ultimately acquired by a food manufacturer. He also co-founded a private equity firm that owned and operated a portfolio of companies focused on industrial mineral production that they later sold to the largest sands producer.

Commenting on his new appointment, Brett says:

“The combination of growth advisory services and M&A is powerful, particularly when you look at the industry knowledge and experience Waypoint Partners brings to the table. The team is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and work alongside clients as they optimize the business and shareholder value. I’m eager to put my experience to work as we continue to scale our presence in the US and advance Waypoint’s upward trajectory globally.”

Brett lives in Ringwood, NJ with his wife and three children.

We welcome Brett and look forward to the future of Waypoint stateside.
